
Alain Bouvier, Violinist and pianist
Violinist and pianist, Alain Bouvier graduated with an honours Bachelor’s Degree in violin performance from the Glenn Gould School. Alain teaches a variety of styles including classical, fiddle, as well as jazz and popular styles. In ensuring the highest quality of his own playing and teaching, Alain continues his positions as the concertmaster of “Masterworks of Oakville” and associate concertmaster of Toronto’s “Canadian Sinfonietta”. He also plays several concerts as a first violinist with the Beaches Chorale and the Brantford Symphony Orchestra. In his free time, he enjoys skiing with his 5-year-old daughter in the winter and sailing with his family on Lake Ontario in the summer.
