Noah Clarke

Noah Clarke is 18 years old and studies cello with Andras Weber. Noah is also a pianist and studies with his grandmother Aster Lai. He has completed the Royal Conservatory of Music Associate Diploma (ARCT) for Performance in both instruments with First Class Honours with Distinction. Noah has won numerous prizes at local competitions including first prize at the Toronto Kiwanis Festival and the Ontario Provincials (OMFA).

Noah has been a featured soloist in the GTA with the Canadian Sinfonietta, the York Chamber Ensemble, and in Austria and Italy with the CS Youth Orchestra.

In addition music, Noah also has a rich academic life. In 2023 Noah competed in the University of Waterloo International Avogadro Chemistry Exam and came in first place out of 5081 contestants around the world.

A previous member of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and the CS Youth Orchestra, Noah is currently the principal cellist of the orchestra at the University of Waterloo, where he is a first year student in the Bio-Medical Engineering Program.
