Eleanor Song

Korean Canadian flutist Eleanor Song is a Toronto based artist known for her expressive artistry and technical proficiency. She is currently pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Performance degree under the tutelage of Susan Hoeppner at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music. At this institution, Eleanor has recently graduated with her Bachelors of Music in Performance where she worked with Kelly Zimba Lukić and Stephen Tam. A passionate ensemble performer, Eleanor is currently a member of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra (TSYO). She was also featured as a radio guest interviewee on The New Classical FM’s series: Sunday Nights at the TSO, in collaboration with Kathleen Kajioka. She also enjoys performing in various ensembles including flute and guitar duos, flute, clarinet and piano trios, and woodwind quintets. Whether it be working with her private students or at Sohrae Youth Orchestra as a teaching assistant, Eleanor enjoys actively giving back to communities supporting the next generation of young musicians.
