
Brittany Wang
Brittany Wang age 11, is an award-winning violinist and the 2023 Canadian Music Competition (CMC) national first-prize winner. Recognized for her musical maturity and captivating performances, Brittany began violin studies at age 4 with Marko Dreher. In 2025, she won first place at Hamilton Music Festival (ARCT & LRCM level, score 96) and represented the festival at OMFA Provincial. That same year, she earned CMC Ontario Winner award. In 2024, she captured first place at Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph, receiving a scholarship, and at Peel Music Festival, advanced to OMFA Provincial Final. In 2023, Brittany achieved first place, best of class, and all-platinum scores at Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival, and advanced to OMFA Provincial Final. She has consistently excelled in prior years, with multiple first-place and scholarship wins at Kiwanis competitions. Brittany has attended prestigious programs, including the Harpa International Music Academy (2022), and the Vancouver Island Music Academy (2024, 2025). A former member of the Cachinno String Quartet at Burloak Academy of Chamber Music won first place at the 2023 Unionville Music Competition.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys reading and drawing. She currently performs on a fine Giuseppe Rocca violin, generously loaned by the Stradivari Society of Chicago.
